Shipping & Refunds Policy
Last updated: October 18, 2026. How we protect delicate wild harvests from forest to table.
1. Fresh Harvest Cold-Chain Shipping
Wild mushrooms are living, perishable organisms that require meticulous moisture and temperature management. All fresh mushroom lots are carefully packed by certified foragers using food-grade breathable packaging and recyclable gel ice packs sized according to destination temperature and travel duration.
Fresh produce is shipped via expedited carrier services (Next-Day or 2-Day Express) across our serviceable US regions to minimize transit time. Local pickup options are available for verified commercial buyers in designated Pacific Northwest regions.
2. Processing & Delivery Timeframes
- Fresh Wild Harvests: Dispatched promptly following species inspection. Deliveries typically arrive within 24 to 48 hours of carrier acceptance to ensure maximum freshness, firmness, and aroma.
- Dehydrated & Preserved Mushrooms: Sealed with moisture barriers and shipped via standard carrier services (2–4 business days).
- Art & Merchandise: Handled and shipped via standard ground carriers (3–5 business days).
3. Arrival Inspection & Perishables Guarantee
Because wild mushrooms are highly perishable, buyers must inspect their packages immediately upon arrival and transfer mushrooms to proper cold storage (34°F–38°F with adequate air circulation).
We guarantee that every delivered lot matches the grade and species verified in the listing. If a package experiences transit delays, temperature failure, or physical crush damage resulting in spoiled product, you are protected by our Buyer Freshness Guarantee.
4. Damaged Delivery & Quality Claims
To report an issue with a fresh harvest delivery:
- Report within 24 hours: Notify our support team within 24 hours of the carrier delivery timestamp.
- Provide photographic evidence: Include clear photos of the shipping label, packaging condition, and the mushrooms themselves.
- Swift resolution: Valid claims for temperature excursion, carrier transit spoilage, or misidentified species receive a prompt refund or replacement lot where inventory permits.
5. Returns & Cancellation Policy
Due to food safety standards and the perishable nature of fresh wild produce, return shipments of fresh mushrooms are not accepted once delivered. For non-perishable art and merchandise, unused items in original packaging may be returned within 14 days of receipt.
